Euro 2024 finally got underway on Friday June 14 and, after a victory over Austria, France is set to take on the Netherlands, on the same evening as the Fête de la Musique, this Friday June 21 at 9pm. Every year, Paris celebrates music for one evening, on the day of the summer solstice. This year, there will unfortunately be noEuro 2024 fan zone in the capital with the arrival of the Paris 2024 Games, but the Fête de Musique doesn't stop you from watching the France vs. Netherlands match. For the more motivated, you can even combine the two!
If Paris is celebrating, soccer fans won't be outdone! Numerous Parisian bars and pubs are equipping themselves with giant screens so you can follow the France vs. Netherlands match in a soccer stadium atmosphere, while enjoying the Fête de la Musique . Forthe occasion, some bars will be combiningEuro 2024 broadcasts with live music for a festive evening.
Whether you're a French fan or a Friday night footix, watching theEuro 2024 match outside promises to be a convivial, emotionally-charged experience. An evening of debating the score with your table-mate, of getting up and shouting at aFrench team goal, of stressing out, of grabbing a friend's arm before a penalty, of getting angry at a botched move against Holland, where, in the end, every moment is a moment of life! Although M'Bappé may unfortunately not be able to play with the rest of theFrench team following his accident during the France vs. Austria match, French fans are confident that they will be able to support Les Bleus .
The weather may be temperamental, but we're still hoping that we'll be able to watch the France vs. Netherlands European Football Championship match on the terraces and rooftops of Paris. Some restaurants and bars are installing screens to broadcast the matches live. The combination of soccer, panoramic views and fresh air creates an unforgettable atmosphere, all the more so if the evening continues afterwards with the Fête de la Musique!
A number of private events offer the chance to get together and watch the match between France and Holland on a giant screen, such as on the Mazette barge or at Ground Control. These trendy venues inviteyou to continue the evening afterwards to celebrate the music, but also perhaps the victory of our favorite Blues .
After a victorious first match forTeam France, 1-0 against Austria, we're about to play our second pool match. Whether you choose to watch the match, take part in this music celebration or do both, the evening of Friday June 21 promises to be a rhythmic one!
