Right opposite the Parc André Citroën, moored to the quays of the Seine, the Annette K. barge offers an incredible program all week long. With an open-air rooftop pool,small-scale sports classes , a healthy restaurant and a dream setting, it's like being at home, living, partying, sweating, having lunch and sharing drinks with friends! With an optional view of the Eiffel Tower , of course.
The boat is named after a famous swimmer, Annette Kellerman, who was born with polio, a disability she fought against with her swimming. For her, swimming was the salvation; sport acted as a veritable resurrection for the young woman, who decided to dedicate her life to sport, while fighting hard for it to finally be conjugated in the feminine. Also an actress, the barge pays tribute to her, resembling her and embracing her personality, with movie posters as a nod to her career, sports facilities as a reminder of her fight to make sport accessible to women, and last but not least, a magnificent heated pool!
During the day, the barge celebrates well-being with a variety of sports classes (bootcamp, cycling, yoga, thighs, buttocks, pilates), an impeccably equipped gym (rowing machine, weights, treadmill, weight machines) and a healthy menu. What's on the menu? Super smoothies with ingredients that are excellent for the body, such as the Tortue Rouge with chia seeds, raspberry, banana and beet powder, or the Vert Mathilde, which combines spinach, pineapple, Madagascar, oat milk and hemp seeds...
There's also a whole menu of hot drinks, including coffees, lattes, infusions, teas and fresh, locally-produced beverages. For lunch, the chef offers the soup of the day, a variety of croques-monsieurs, salads and the seasonal bowl (inspired by the Buddha bowl, with a mix of roasted and raw vegetables, starches and proteins), in addition to the daily specials. The idea is to find at Annette K. everything you need: breakfast options (cakes, chia pudding, bowl of granola and yoghurt), a place to work out, a place to telework, then lunch with healthy dishes at affordable prices, a coffee shop offer for snacks...
In fact, the barge has been designed as a real place to live, a microcosm in which you could spend 24 hours without even feeling the need to set foot outside. In fact, that's why we've created a special entrance fee: you don't pay for a single session, but for a half-day package (€27, all activities included), with entry to the pool, sauna, gym and group classes. The little extra? Annette K. also has its own athletics track (we assure you), even if it's not permanently accessible.
The atmosphere here is likely to remind you of your last balneotherapy vacation, and it's no coincidence that this is the case. The barge is also a health center, offering massages, perinatal care for new mothers and pregnant women, solutions for rheumatological pathologies, sophrology classes, sessions with a specialized dietician, medical consultations with osteopaths, physiotherapists, midwives, follow-up for top-level athletes... We've told you: wellbeing, both physical and mental, is at the heart of the project.
In the evening, the barge goes into night mode, the Eiffel Tower lights up and it's time to party. In the moonlight, thespirit of the guinguette spreads across the boat: cocktails replace smoothies, aperitif boards take over from lunch options, and calories are burned on the dancefloor, at Wednesday's Latino night,Thursday's afterwork or Saturday's DJ set! Every month, the program changes to bring you conferences and other exciting events!
Day or night, on Annette K., the program is packed... and why not take a detour on the 15th arrondissement's most unusual barge?
