Are you a big fan of swimming or just want to take it easy? For the time being, we'd advise you to avoid the Seine- not the ideal place to wade in complete safety! Fortunately, there are a number of pools in the capital where you can take to the water from time to time.
Find out which one is closest to your home or work, so you can take a dip and do a bit of sport. Don't hesitate to check regularly on your local town hall's website to find out about the many activities on offer, including lifeguard-led sessions for children and aquagym, for example!
You'll generally pay 3.50 euros for a single entry, 28 euros for a ten-entry card and 43 euros for a 3-month season ticket, to be used throughout the network, i.e. the 40 swimming pools in the capital managed by the Mairie de Paris, except for Suzanne Berlioux, Pontoise and Pailleron, Joséphine Baker and Roger Le Gall and Oberkampf, which are managed by private companies and have different pricing structures. There are also reduced rates for young Paris residents under 26, large families and over-65s.
Keep up to date with their opening times and other practical information on their website!
