If you're a keen swimmer, this is the place to be in Paris! Located in the heart of Paris's 15th arrondissement, the Keller swimming pool is a favorite with sports enthusiasts, as it boasts one of the capital's few Olympic-size pools!
It owes its name to Gilbert Keller, former deputy mayor of Paris in charge of sports. Inaugurated in 1971, it was designed by architect André Remondet. The pool, with its brutalist architectural style typical of the 70s, features a large glass roof that provides abundant natural light. Renovated in 2009, it is now adapted to contemporary ecological standards, in line with a sustainable development approach to sports facilities.
Here, you'll find equipment tailored to the needs of different swimmers. As mentioned above, there's a 50-meter-long indoor Olympic pool, which is not recommended for dabblers, but rather for sports swimmers. A 25-metre leisure pool also awaits you: while it's covered in winter, the removable glass roof allows us to enjoy open-air swimming sessions when fine weather returns to the capital. In addition, there are fitness and aquagym areas, a weight room and relaxation areas. A great spot for sports enthusiasts of all levels looking to excel!
