The Ile de loisirs de Créteil (94), the perfect spot for a day of swimming in the open air

The Créteil leisure park, or Île de loisirs de Créteil, awaits you to enjoy its many activities. Water sports center, wave pool, fishing, running... Open all year round, this 62-hectare haven nestled around the Lac de Créteil is a real green lung for enjoying a beautiful green space.

The Base de loisirs de Créteil is a green oasis, surrounding a 40-hectare artificial lake that offers a range ofsporting, cultural and outdoor leisureactivities in a preserved natural environment. Formerly a sand quarry from 1945 to 1976, the lake is now a favorite spot for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. A good idea when the weather's hot: misters are available in the park.

Although swimming in the lake is prohibited by prefectural decree, a beautiful wave pool awaits you for a refreshing dip. It's open to you from the beginning of July to the end of August 2025, from Tuesday to Sunday. Please note, however, thatentry to the wave pool this year will be by reservation only.

On the leisure centre programme:

• Swimming area: the wave pool leisure area lets you enjoy the sunny days in a serene, relaxed environment. A 1310 m² aquatic area with wave pool, 70-meter waterslide, paddling pool and water games, surrounded by a lawn. Access to the area is subject to reservation and includes inflatable games, swimming and access to additional services. Admission to the leisure center is free, but the pool is not. Admission is €10 per adult, €7.5 for 4-18 year-olds and €1.5 for under-4s (or €8.5 per adult, €6 for children and €1.5 for under-4s if you enter after 12:30 p.m.).
  • The wave pool will be open: from June 14 to July 1, 2025, only on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. From July 1 to August 27, 2025, Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 7pm.
• Sand sports courts: accessible and included in wave pool admission. Ideal for Beach Volleyball, Beach Handball and Beach Soccer.
• Water sports area: the water sports area is the ideal place to enjoy water sports activities such as sailing and kayaking.
• Picnics and catering: several picnic areas with tables are available. Numerous foodtruck outlets are deployed throughout the leisure park, catering for all tastes.
• Fishing: You can fish on the ponds on presentation of your fishing card. The lake, with its 42 hectares and a depth of up to 6 metres, is a great opportunity for fishing enthusiasts.
• Fishing school: new in 2025, open from mid-April 2025. Open every Wednesday for beginners.
• The Maison de la Nature: the Maison de la Nature is a documentation center for discovering the birds, trees and flora of the leisure park. The Nature & Société association organizes workshops, exhibitions, evening events, training courses and nature outings.
• Tree-climbing: the Île de Loisirs de Créteil offers a tree-climbing course to delight young and old alike.Accrocamp Créteil, with its original airborne structure, is located in a beautiful natural setting near the lake. The course is ideal for people of all ages looking for an outdoor adventure, whether to entertain the kids, challenge friends, or simply enjoy the thrill of sliding down zip lines. This activity combines adrenaline, fun and a close relationship with nature, all in a safe environment.
