As part of the 20th edition of the White Night, the Mémoire de l'Avenir area welcomes you for an evening and a night filled with culture in Paris 20th arrondissement. On the menu, many beautiful things for all contemporary art fans: an exhibition, an interactive and immersive installation, and a performance by artist Cécile Bouillot. And of course, all is free!
White Night 2021 at the Espace Mémoire de l’Avenir:
For this White Night, the artist comes up with two performances about her latest project where she stages “sentences heard in the street since 2020, paced with interludes around movements from the daily life”. The whole is put to music by Brigande. Through the “prism of a kaleidoscopic narrative, made of the material of the ordinary”, Cécile Bouillot proposes “with humor and poetry” to make visitors face “the world’s babbling, without looking to make it understandable or transform it”.
For the White Night 2021, Lamozé comes up with “The (un)veiled Gaze”, a work of art wondering about the “neurological phenomenon of synesthesia”, in order to “question what enlivens one’s apprehension to the environment”. Through movements and touching, the artist invites to discover “a sound landscape which picture of a human body is both the vehicle and the geography”.
“Mostly related to time, bodies and their metamorphoses”, works presents for the exhibition echo to the “being’s development whether on the mental or physical level, around urges of desires, fears, life and death”.
Good White Night to all!
