Nuit Blanche is a nocturnal celebration of art and culture, a magical annual event where the streets of Paris and the surrounding area come alive with creativity and diverse artistic expression. The Place de la Fraternité in Montreuil, an emblematic site steeped in history and symbolism, will play host to one of these artistic expressions during Nuit Blanche 2023, on June 3. Renowned for its community spirit and vibrant atmosphere, the square perfectly embodies the spirit of fraternity. It has witnessed many historical and social events that have shaped the diversity and richness of the Montreuil community.
The"Actes de Langage" installation, designed by Catherine Radosa as part of her residency at Maison POP, is a major reason to visit the Place de la Fraternité during this Nuit Blanche. This sound and visual installation is a tribute to fraternity, exploring the concept through the stories and testimonies of various women from Montreuil. Combining interviews, a parade in the public space, sound and visual pieces, this collective performance promises to be an immersive and poignant experience.
