Summer activities at the Musée de la Grande Guerre

All summer long, the Musée de la Grande Guerre offers family activities to help you understand the history of the First World War in a fun and educational way.

Theprogram includes workshops for children on Wednesdays and Fridays, guided tours on Saturdays and Sundays, and free sports sessions in the museum grounds.

And always our temporary exhibitions:

• Fighting far from home. The French Colonial Empire in the Great War (included in museum admission)
• Soldats sportif (free admission on the museum forecourt) until August 19.

Don't miss the passage of the Olympic flame through the museum on July 20. The museum will be exceptionally closed on this day.

Please note the annual closure from August 19 to September 6. Reopening for the Great War re-enactment weekend on September 7 and 8.

• Every Sunday: guided tour of the exhibition "Combattre loin de chez soi. The French Colonial Empire in the Great War" (except August 4).
• Sundays July 7 and August 4: guided tour of the "Colonies in the Great War" exhibition
• Sunday, July 21: Guided tour "Sport during the war".
• Sunday July 28: Guided tour "Trench warfare".
• Sunday August 11: Guided tour "14-18, a total war".
