Valentine's Day: Raids, field study... Pokemon Go launches event for lovers

To mark Valentine's Day, Pokemon Go is pulling out all the stops, offering gamers a host of in-game events from February 8 to 14, 2023. Raids, field surveys, the arrival of Mega-Gardevoir... We take stock!

This Valentine's Day, love is in the air in Pokemon Go! To celebrate Valentine's Day, the game published by Niantic Labs is offering a number of new quests during a special event from February 8 to 14, 2023. The program includes new raids, a field survey and many other surprises for gamers still playing the game!

Starting with the arrival in Mega Raids of Mega-Gardevoir. If you're lucky, you may even meet one in a chromatic version! Then there are a number of studies to look forward to: first of all, Charming Wishes, which grants you extra PX and extra Candies for catching Pokemon, or the possibility of increasing the duration of daily Adventure Incense. Note that the path you choose will determine the bonuses and tasks to be accomplished during the event. Everyone, however, will have the opportunity to meet Viskuse.

Another field study, this time on the theme of the event. During the event, you'll be able to meet Pikachu, Evoli, Tarsal, Lovdisc, Hippopotas, male and female Viskuse and Helionceau. Some trainers will also be able to meet Leveinard, Spinda with a heart motif, Apitrini, Nanméouïe, Mamambo and Spododo.

As for the Raids, several Pokemon will appear for the occasion, including Leveinard, Lixy, Couafarel in its wild form and Psystigri for the one-star Raids. In three-star raids, you'll meet Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Excelangue, Ecrémeuh and Gallame, while five-star raids will bring you Tokopiyon. Note also that if you own a Couafarel in wild form, you can exchange it for a Couafarel Coupe Coeur during the event.

A global challenge also awaits you during theValentine's Day event, from 12 noon on February 7 to 10 p.m. on February 14. Collaborate with other trainers from all over the world by sending gifts to your friends, and if enough gifts are sent during the event period, each trainer will receive a bonus; either Transfer Candies x3 for the rest of the event, or Transfer XL Candies x2 for Trainers level 31 and above until the end of the event. The aim of the challenge: to send a total of 100,000,000 gifts. Good luck!
