La Course de la Saint-Valentin announces its return on Saturday, February 15, 2025 for a 25th fun and militant race in the bucolic setting of the Parc des Buttes Chaumont. Open to all, this event awaits couples and singles in search of true love in the majestic setting of the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont for an incredible race organized for over 20 years by the FrontRunners de Paris, a lesbian, gay, bi, trans and friendly running club in the Paris region.
The primary aim of the race is to create a festive sporting event around two themes: running and Valentine's Day. The race also serves to raise public awareness of discrimination, particularly that linked to sexual orientation and gender identity, with a view to promoting tolerance and open-mindedness.
The first couples' event in the capital, the Valentine's Day Run is the perfect opportunity to come running with your other half. It's a great way to test your love and endurance at the same time. Couples and singles alike will take part in a 5km run over two loops in the park. Would you like to take part, but rather solo? Don't worry, the Valentine's Day Run offers 10km courses for sports enthusiasts!
So this Saturday, test your love... or find it, with the Cupid's 5km course, which lets you run as a duo, with a partner you'll meet on race day. All you have to do during the registration process is indicate whether you'd like to run with a man or a woman. The 5km Duo is open to all couples, regardless of gender. The race is also open to non-binary and transgender people.
Registration is already open, so don't wait any longer! You can also take part in a charity tombola, with all proceeds going to a partner association supporting LGBTQ+ causes or people in difficulty.
