1997 - 2017. All of Paris mourned its closure three years ago. Great news, Colette is back in Paris! The unforgettable concept store is back in documentary form with " Colette Mon Amour ", directed by Hugues Lawson-Body. To celebrate it properly, mk2 Beaubourg invited the finest Parisian of the 2000's for 5 exclusive evenings, from February 26 to March 1, 2020.
As the house knows how to treat its guests, each session will be followed by a conversation with distinguished guests who have participated in the history of the place: Sarah Andelman (co-founder of Colette), Pedro Winter (director of the label Ed Banger), Michel Dupouy (comm agency MJC), David Fischer (founder of Highsnobiety) or the director.
A true incarnation of fashion and Parisian chic, Colette was the internet before the internet. Thanks to surprising and successful collab' and innovative customer experiences, the store has inspired the biggest names in pop culture, fashion and luxury for 20 years.
" Colette mon amour " looks back on the last months of the store and invites the viewer to go behind the scenes. The camera follows Colette Roussaux and her daughter, Sarah Andelman, in the end of this human and family adventure... Remember to bring your tissues!
Since we never leave without a little something from Colette, a "gift shop" dedicated to " Colette Mon amour " will be set up in the Kitsuné boutique in the Tuileries, especially for the occasion.
So once again, thank you Colette!
