Released in 2010, Edgar Wright's film has fascinated a whole generation of geeks, Scott Pilgrim will soon be back on Netflix in a brand new form, that of an animated series, with the entire original cast of the film!

It's perhaps a more suitable format, given that it's originally a comic book. Scott Pilgrim will soon return as an animated series for Netflix. It is Edgar Wright himself who announced the good news on his Twitter account. The director of the film is indeed the one who pulls the strings of this new adaptation of the cult work.

And in the short trailer that the director has published, we discover a nice surprise, the entire original cast returns to give voice! As in 2010, we will find Michael Cena and Mary-Elizabeth Winstead in the main roles, but also an incredible gallery of secondary characters played by Chris Evans, Brie Larson, Anna Kendrick, Jason Schwartzman and all the other actors of the film.

For the moment, no date has been specified for the release of this series that we are looking forward to.

The synopsis of Scott Pilgrim

Scott Pilgrim has never had a problem finding a girlfriend, but getting rid of one is more complicated. Between the one who broke his heart - and is back in town - and the teenage girl who serves as a distraction when Ramona enters his life - on rollerblades - love has never been easy. But he soon realizes that the new object of his affection has the most peculiar baggage he's ever encountered: an infamous league of exes who control his love life and will do anything to eliminate his new beau. As Scott grows closer to Ramona, he's confronted with a growing array of the same people who populate his sweetheart's past: from a mean skateboarder to a vegetarian rock star to an ugly pair of twins. And if he hopes to seduce the love of his life, he must triumph over each of them before the game is well and truly over.
