Umami synopsis

Gabriel Carvin is a Michelin-starred chef of great renown. When his health and family life deteriorate, he decides to travel to the other side of the world. He heads for Japan, in search of a Japanese chef who had beaten him in a cooking competition 40 years earlier. This cultural and culinary journey will lead him to take stock of his life.
