100 years of Warner Bros at UGC Ciné Cité Les Halles: 84 cult films in the spotlight

UGC Ciné Cité Les Halles, a cinema monster in terms of admissions, honors the centenary of Warner Bros with 84 cult films from June 7 to August 29.

TheUGC Ciné Cité Les Halles, the largest cinema in the world in terms of attendance, is celebrating the centenary of Warner Bros. The program includes 84 cult films from June 7 to August 29, including Inception, Gran Torino, Barry Lyndon, and many others. A unique opportunity to (re)discover these masterpieces in an exceptional setting.

The launch evening on June 7 will begin with a screening of Christopher Nolan'sInception, presented by Olivier Snanoudj, Senior Vice-President Warner France, and Patrice Le Marchand, Director of UGC Ciné Cité Les Halles. Throughout the summer, artist Quentin DMR will create a work of art in situ, in addition to the exhibition of the "Les Studios Warner dans l'œil de Paris Match" collection and many other activities.

Other highlights include a meeting and a live piano-vocal performance by SANTA before the Matrix screening, and masterclasses hosted by personalities and media ahead of the films. From July 30 to August 20, the "Le Directeur fait son cinéma" event will be repeated, during which Patrice Le Marchand will present each film.

The program will run for nearly three months, with a different film shown each day. Film fans will be able to immerse themselves in the world of Christopher Nolan with films such as"Inception","The Dark Knight","Dunkirk" and"Interstellar", or rediscover Clint Eastwood classics like"Gran Torino" and"Invictus". Stanley Kubrick will also be in the spotlight with"Barry Lyndon","Orange Mécanique","Shining","2001: A Space Odyssey","Lolita","Full Metal Jacket" and"Eyes Wide Shut".

This film festival is an excellent opportunity to (re)discover the landmark works of cinema history, all distributed by Warner Bros. Whether you're a die-hard fan or a curious neophyte, don't miss this unique chance to delve into the rich catalog of this legendary studio.
