The Killer: where in Paris was David Fincher's film shot?

The man behind Se7en, Fight Club and Gone Girl has been working exclusively with Netflix since Midhunter, and The Killer is his second feature film to be produced by and for the platform. Adapted from a French comic strip by Matz and Luc Jacamon, Le Tueur, the film was shot in Paris, in the Latin Quarter, but not only there. The Killer, a fascinating character played by Michael Fassbender, travels through many countries. The cast also includes Tilda Swinton and Charles Parnell, at the heart of what promises to be a muscular thriller.
After a near-miss, a killer battles his employers and himself in an international manhunt that he believes is nothing personal.
Our verdict
In this new film, David Fincher, one of the most talented directors of the last thirty years, models his staging on that of his protagonist, who devours the screen with his clinically cold presence. A man of few words, it's mainly through his voice-over that the Killer reveals himself. Meticulous, paranoid, he leaves nothing to chance, yet he has to deal with the one parameter that wasn't part of his plan: failure.
With this new feature, David Fincher could once again alienate his fans, for as with Mank, his previous film, the director moves away from the tortured narratives that have made his trademark, for a more linear story, more versed in action than depth, and much colder. Enough to baffle even the biggest fans! However, The Killer is undeniably one of the events of the end of the year, and you'd be wrong to miss it. Fincher changes register, but loses none of his technical genius. Michael Fassbender plays a disturbing role.
