The main protagonist, Mireille Stockaert, is a lonely, broken woman. A lover of painting and poetry, she works in the cafeteria of the Beaux-Arts in Namur, where she finds her only consolation. But her life takes a dramatic turn when she inherits a large family home.
In order to maintain this property, she decides to rent rooms to three men, changing her routine in the process. These new roommates will turn her life upside down, bringing with them a new dynamic and disrupting her daily routine.
The three men include such outstanding actors as Sergi López. An acclaimed Spanish actor, he shone in Guillermo Del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth, revealing his dramatic potential. French actor Grégory Gadebois, who won a César for Best New Actor for his role in Angèle et Tony, also brings an infusion of talent to this production.
Yolande Moreau appears both in front of and behind the camera for this film. Known for her roles in films such as Séraphine and Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, she is also renowned for her work as a director. Moreau has already won two Césars for Best Actress and a César for Best First Film for her directorial effort Quand la mer monte.
French actress and directorNoémie Lvovsky also brings her acting expertise to the cast. Known for her participation in films such as Camille Redouble and Rosalie Blum, she is recognized for her acting talent in France and abroad.
Finally, Philippe Duquesne, a French actor well known for his role in Welcome to the Sticks, adds a further dimension to this already impressive cast.
