A few months after the demise of Salto, TF1 is back with a brand new streaming platform, TF1+, available free of charge from January 8. The platform promises replay of its programs and shows 30 days after they go online, as well as numerous films, TV movies and series. TF1 has announced 15,000 hours of programming.
The platform is free, as the programs are accompanied by advertising in the beginning and middle, but it is possible to take out a subscription for €5.99 a month to remove the ads. The arrival of TF1+ marks the logical end of MyTF1.
At launch, you'll be able to find many quality films and series, such as Spider-Man, Criminal Minds, Les Visiteurs, Gladiator, The Hobbit trilogy and many others. You can also find TF1's flagship original programs, such as HPI, Munch, Panda and many others.
TF1+ now ranks as one of the most interesting free-to-air platforms, alongside those of Arte and France TV, which offer quality content albeit in smaller quantities.
