Chien de la casse by Jean-Baptiste Durand with Raphaël Quenard, big favorite at the César 2024 awards

Released in April 2023, Chien de la Casse quickly established itself as one of last year's highlights. Directed by Jean-Baptiste Durand, this is the French screenwriter and director's first feature film. The film stars Raphaël Quenard, one of the revelations of recent years.

Synopsis: Dog and Mirales are childhood friends. They live in a small village in the south of France and spend most of their days roaming the streets. To kill time, Mirales has taken to teasing Dog more than he should. Their friendship is put to the test by the arrival in the village of a young girl, Elsa, with whom Dog is about to fall in love. Riddled with jealousy, Mirales has to let go of his past in order to grow up and find his place.
