Les Fées Sorcières: a magical animated world for toddlers

Les Fées Sorcières is a collection of four animated shorts, each exploring the magical adventures of fairies and witches. With a total running time of 40 minutes, this wordless compilation is a rich visual experience for children aged 4 and over, blending humor, magic and life lessons.

• The Baby and the Witch, directed by Evgenia Golubeva in 2020, is a 2D animation from Russia. The story follows the adventures of an aging witch who, in her quest for eternal youth, discovers that appearances can be deceiving, especially when a baby princess is involved.

• La Superfée et l'Araignée, created by An Vrombaut in 2023, comes to us from Belgium. The friendship between Ella the fairy and Spin the spider is put to the test when an argument breaks out. This story shows the importance of collaboration and the power of reconciliation.

• Marion Jamault 's Filante is a moving French paper-cut adventure. Paulette, a little witch, learns that even the most sincere wishes can sometimes take more than a shooting star to come true.

• Finally, La Fée Sorcière by Cedric Igodt and David Van de Weyer, a Belgian-Bulgarian 3D CGI film from 2022, features Rosemary, a young fairy who aspires to a life of adventure outside convention. Her journey leads her to self-discovery and the value of freedom.
