Six years after their first feature-length horror-animation film, La Casa Lobo, Cristóbal León and Joaquín Cociña arrive at the Cannes Film Festival 2024 with their new film, The Hyperboreans, selected for the Cinéastes Fortnight 2024.
Friends ofAri Aster - for whom they directed the animated sequence in Beau if Afraid - the two Chilean directors unveil a new hybrid and experimental project, on the borders of visual art, theater, animation and cinema. It's sure to intrigue many a festival-goer.
