Shark 3D, David R. Ellis' 2011 horror/thriller starring Sara Paxton, will be available on Prime Video on September 6, 2024. The film plunges a group of friends into an aquatic nightmare when they come face to face with bloodthirsty sharks in a remote lake.

Directed by David R. Ellis, known for his work on Final Destination 2, Shark 3D is a horror film that blends suspense and terror under the murky waters of a remote lake. With a screenplay by Jesse Studenberg and Will Hayes, the film stars Sara Paxton(The Last House on the Left), Dustin Milligan(90210 Beverly Hills), and Katharine McPhee(Scorpion). In the tradition of the genre's classics, Shark 3D offers a thrilling cinematic experience in which carefree youngsters find themselves trapped by the predatory wilderness of sharks.

In the middle of summer, Sara and her friends decide to enjoy a relaxing weekend on a private island in the middle of a huge salt lake in Louisiana. But their getaway takes a dramatic turn when Malik, one of them, is seriously injured while water-skiing, losing an arm in what appears to be an accident. Thinking it an unfortunate fate, the group boards a speedboat to take Malik to hospital. However, they soon discover that the lake is infested with ultra-aggressive sharks. What looked like a weekend of fun turns into a nightmare where survival becomes their only objective. Trapped on the island, the friends face relentless predators, and very few of them will ever see land again.

Shark 3D will appeal to fans of thrillers and horror films who enjoy tales where nature itself becomes a destructive force. The film stands out for its use of 3D to intensify the horror of shark attacks, creating total immersion in this aquatic trap. Those who enjoyed films such as Jaws or Blue Fear will find a similar atmosphere here, where suspense is omnipresent and the threat of the deep emerges at every moment.

Available on Prime Video from September 6, 2024, Shark 3D is a horror thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat with its scenes of aquatic terror and moments of unbearable tension. Sara Paxton and her group of friends fight for survival in a setting as idyllic as it is unforgiving, where sharks reign supreme. If you're looking for a film that will send shivers down your spine, while keeping you on the edge of your seat, Shark 3D is the perfect choice for a successful evening of horror.
