Des Lendemains qui chantent, the first feature film directed by Nicolas Castro, will be released in cinemas on August 20. The cast includes Pio Marmaï, Laetitia Casta, Gaspard Proust, Ramzy Bédia and André Dussolier.

Set in the 80s and 90s, the film follows the trajectories of four heroes: Léon, the disenchanted journalist; Olivier, his brother, the opportunistic publicist; Noémie (Laetitia Casta), a presidential advisor who can't decide between them over the years; and Sylvain (Ramzy Bedia), the childhood friend. They all embody the major turning points of a funny, tender and nostalgic era whose history continues to be written today.
A skilful blend offiction and archivefootage, Des Lendemains qui chantent plunges us totally into the 80s and 90s. In fact, the director, who describes himself as "crazy about archives", selected images from the INA (the French National Audiovisual Institute) featuring key personalities from that era (Jean-Marie Le Pen, Bernard Tapie, François Mitterand, etc.) to illustrate his film.
