It's a long time coming, but we weren't expecting any news... Ubisoft finally gave us some information about the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, at an Ubisoft Forward event on June 10, 2024. And the least we can say is that we weren't expecting it! After officially announcing the game in September 2020, then postponing it to an unspecified date in February 2021, Ubisoft has now given a range for the release date... And we'll have to wait until 2026 to get our hands on it!
The reason for the postponement, for those interested? The developers wanted to fine-tune the game to make it as enjoyable as possible, after much feedback from gamers following the release of the trailer last September.
As a reminder, and especially for those unfamiliar with this opus, it plunges us into the heart of an adventure in which our Persian Prince must save the kingdom and his people from the Sands of Time, devastating everything in their path after being freed from an hourglass, but also from the Vizier, who will do anything to seize a dagger capable of influencing time.
