We're happy. You're happy. PS4 and Xbox One owners can't wait to get their hands on the next Harry Potter game, already available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. And it's a good thing: the game is available on the older generations of consoles since this May 5, 2023.
HogwartsLegacy is an open world RPG that takes us on an epic quest, set to the legendary music ofHarry Potter. But when will we finally receive our letter of admission to Hogwarts? The game was originally scheduled for release in late 2021. It has been postponed several times, in order to be developed in the best conditions, according to Avalanche, the studio behind this opus. Finally, the official release date of the game has been revealed... Then slightly modified. But the hardest part is over: Avalanche will release Hogwarts Legacy on PS5, Xbox X/S and PC on February 10th, 2023.
Bad news, however, for Nintendo Switch players: their owners will have to wait until July 25, 2023 to visit Hogwarts. As a reminder, the Deluxe Edition allows you to access the game 72 hours before its release on PS5 and Xbox X/S. For other platforms, the Deluxe Edition does not include early access to the game.

At the beginning of January, insider AccountNGT announced some great news: Hogwarts Legacy could be released a little early, in thesummer of 2022. Then, on January 17, our hopes were dashed by a rumor, started by Colin Moriarty, host of the Sacred Symbol podcast. The American claims to have heard " behind the scenes that the game would not be released this year and that there would be problems " with production. Information that the host could not prove at the time.
Fortunately, a last rebound reassured us: the Brazilian Warner Play account and the community manager of the Avalanche studio confirmed that the game would be released in 2022, without however giving more precision on the release date. It will therefore be for 2023! Please note that the game is already available for pre-order at the usual retailers, as well as on the console stores...
Concerning the State of Play dedicated to Hogwarts Legacy, it offered us a first glimpse of the gameplay, in open world and with a lot of surprises! Spells, potion making, walking in the nature in search of plants or animals, fighting against goblins and black mages... So many nice surprises teased here, in a gameplay video of about twenty minutes.

Here we are at the end of the 1800s, long before the events we know well. You arrive at Hogwarts, ready to learn all the intricacies of wizardry, convinced that you can bottle glory, distill greatness and even lock up death... in a bottle. Flying on a broom, botany, metamorphosis, healing magical creatures... Everything is there to give you a complete magical experience.
The trailer of the game let us know that all the magical universes created by J.K. Rowling are intertwined: we find many creatures presented in the Fantastic Animals movies, we have to face trolls, dragons, stalkers, inferis... and a mysterious masked man.
In this RPG, you can wander freely in the castle, and even in Pré au Lard and possibly in Chemin de Traverse, if we are to believe the few images seen in the trailer. But there's no question of wandering: an important quest awaits us.
Our character holds an ancient secret, powerful enough to challenge the wizarding world . Numerous battles will punctuate our lives, with an epic soundtrack that picks up the main themes of the Harry Potter saga. The wizarding world is revealed as never before, and many surprises await us.
" The bond that unites wizards is the legacy of Hogwarts. " What bond? What secret? So many questions we can't wait to answer! The exact release date is not yet known, so it will be several months before we can play Hogwarts Legacy.
It is the Swedish studio Avalanche that gave life to this game. The studio is notably known for the Just Cause saga and the video game adaptation of Mad Max.
While waiting for the release of the game, you have to go on the hunt to get the much requested PS5. Review your spells now, you'll need them to complete the great story that awaits you in the wizarding world.
