Batman - Arkham Shadow: Meta Quest superhero game unveiled at Gamescom

Batman, Gotham's iconic vigilante, returns to fight crime in virtual reality with Batman: Arkham Shadow, due October 2024 on Meta Quest. This new opus was once again presented in detail at Gamescom 'sOpening Night on August 20, 2024, marking theArkhamverse 's return to the vast world of video games.

Developed by Camouflaj, known for its expertise in virtual reality with Marvel's Iron Man VR, and published by Oculus Studios, this title promises deep immersion in the dark universe of Batman. The teaser, though mysterious, reveals a scene in which Batman is confronted by a horde of rats, perhaps foreshadowing the presence of Ratcatcher, one of theDC universe's iconic antagonists, as the main villain.
