Fraîche is the local brand made in Paris that will embellish our back to school shopping. See you in the store on rue de Martyrs, in the heart of the 9th district.
Launched by Julie Arend, in 2017 the brand offers a fashion where retro 70's chic and fun meet. Committed, Fraîche chooses raw materials from suppliers in France and Europe. The idea is to produce nearby to mobilize the local economy, solicit experienced artisans and reduce the ecological impact.
The process could not be simpler: all the Fraîche creations are imagined and designed by Julie. The models are then designed and entirely made in the Fraîche workshop in Paris. 100% local as we like.
And for this fall 2019, Fraîche is releasing a new bag, Le Virage (350€) in partnership with Laïta leather goods. For the anecdote, the name of the bag comes from the restaurant where Julie met the duo of leatherworkers, Le Virage Lepic. Made of leather and wood, this large bag can hold computers, files and magazines, but can also be carried folded under the arm for a resolutely retro look. It comes in two colors, navy blue and camel or red and purple.
The rest of the collection is also worth a look! We love the Kate Flowers shirt (140€), a straight cut men's shirt, as well as the Brandon Froufrou top (160€) inspired by an American soccer shirt with its loose sleeves. Two models that play wonderfully with the contrast between a standard cut, inspired by men, and a very feminine material and patterns.
Special mention also for the Harry pants (160€) which combine classic cut and disco details.
