Welcome to thesunny and offbeat world of Jacquemus! A true fashion darling, the designer is taking over Galeries Lafayette Haussmann until April 2, 2023. From the atrium to the windows, via the main entrances of the department store, he brings his obsessions to life through playful and surprising decors, as well as an ephemeral café and flower market.
Each Jacquemus flagship piece is staged inoversized immersive installations, planted here and there in the store. Passing through the Porte Mogador, discover a giant Bambino split in two, displaying the different bags available during this carte blanche at Galeries Lafayette. For this occasion, the Bisou, Bambino and Chiquito models are even dressed in exclusive colors!
The Porte Lafayette is home to a huge motorized toaster, a stylish "little" caprice by the way... On the Magasin de l'Homme side, the atrium is invaded by a monumental washing machine, open to visitors who sit there for a short cycle and take a photo.
Jacquemus lands in the windows of the Boulevard Haussmann, reminding us of the brand's most iconic fashion shows such as "Le Coup de Soleil", "L'Amour", or "Le Raphia".
An unprecedented field of expression for the designer, who continues his pop detour of everyday objects, like the unusual glass of grenadine that spins on itself, or the cookie dipped in a cup of coffee, which splashes the front.
Not far from there, a photo booth is constantly printing pictures, while a wall of washing machines is lathering up the brand's it-bags.
And the Jacquemus dream doesn't stop there! An ephemeralcafé, sublimated by a flower market, has opened outside the Magasin de l'Homme and offers hot drinks and pretty white tulip bouquets until March 14, 2023.
