La Sirène, a second-hand bookshop full of rare books at Bastille - Photos and reportage

There are many second-hand bookshops in the 12th arrondissement. Among them is La Sirène, a small shop on rue de Lyon, a stone's throw from Place de la Bastille. In this store, all items are second-hand and used, making it the perfect place to find certain paperback titles at bargain prices. But above all, it's a bookshop specializing in old books.

From old thrillers and noir novels to classic literature, as well as a fine collection of pleiades at low prices, any collector will find what he's looking for. The store is small but well-stocked, and its shelves are overflowing with good bargains. We could spend hours searching the shelves for a nugget, but we're sure you won't come away empty-handed.
