Embellish your interior, transforming every room into a stylish cocoon by adorning it with accessories, paintings and meticulously selected furniture... Decorating is a passion shared by many French people. And if you're one of those people who get excited when they see a beautiful carpet, then you've got a lot to look forward to!
Paris Déco Off (and Paris Déco Home) is back for its 15th edition on the theme "Fashion in Deco, Deco in Fashion", with the unprecedented collaboration of fashion design school Esmod International. From January 15 to 18, 2025, some 160 designers and editors from the world of home decoration will be on hand in their Parisian showrooms, located on the Left and Right Banks, for a voyage of discovery of this year's decorating trends.
For 4 days, Paris becomes the decorating capital of the world. Head for the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, rue du Mail and Place Saint-Sulpice in Paris, to discover the latest in home decorating. Meet established artists and young talents in 160 showrooms brimming with armchairs, lamps, cushions, curtains, wallpaper, decorative elements... All styles, all materials and all decorative objects are highlighted at this free event!
But Paris Déco Off/Home is also an open-air art gallery! Once again this year, the Festival des Étoffes is inviting the Hôtel de l'Industrie, the "Passage Saint-Sulpice" (the ephemeral space on Place Saint-Sulpice) and the restaurant Le Moulin de la Vierge, to decorate their outside windows with hangings, wallpapers and curtains adorned with passementerie.
The oversized furniture created this year by Dedar, Schumacher and Houlès is also back, as are the now-traditional giant incandescent lamps, which illuminate and mark out the entire route along the right and left banks. On the rue du Mail side of the street, access is via a monumental arch draped in fabrics, and there's also a food truck to warm up over a cup of coffee.
Passage Saint Sulpice, meanwhile, will be taken over by the creations of master students from Esmod International.Outfits created from Editeurs fabrics, including trompe-l'œil bags and passementerie jewelry.
At the same time, two "Escarpin" armchairs and a "Haut-de-forme" table in cardboard decorated with Scalamandré fabrics, signed by artists Emmanuelle Burel-Zarée and Nathalie Trignac, will be installed in the lobby of theHôtel de l'Industrie, while a giant luminous comb will join the Esmod silhouettes.
Don't miss this international event dedicated to decorating, a real source of inspiration for giving your interiors a trendy makeover!
