For an exceptional weekend in Seine-et-Marne, take advantage of the Festival Vapeur and the dozens of historicaltrains that will be installed at the Longueville train station, from May 6 to 8, 2023. History and steam locomotive lovers will be delighted during this exceptional event, organized by the AJECTA association, where it will be possible to travel on the rails of Ile-de-France on board these real jewels. For the occasion, military equipment will also be exhibited, for the commemorations of the end of the 1945 armistice.
Nine steam locomotives called "en chauffe", which can still run on the SNCF tracks, will make trips on the rails with the curious of the day on board, starting from the stations of Longueville, Provins, Nogent-sur-Seine, Romilly-sur-Seine, Montereau-Fault-Yonne and Villiers-Saint-Georges. These trains and railcars with their carriages and wagons will come from all over France to offer the public an extraordinary concentration of railway equipment.
A real return in time is thus proposed to you the time of a weekend, with a day pass which allows the access to any train of the festival as well as the zone of exhibition, in partnership with the SNCF. Connoisseurs will be able to recognize the TGV16 train or a cinema car, which existed in the 1970s! Be careful, don't hang around, the number of places is limited.
