For speed and motorcycle enthusiasts, the weekend of August 24-25, 2024 is reserved for the French Superbike Championship. For the penultimate stage of the competition, head to Circuit Carole, in Tremblay-en-France, located 20 minutes from the capital, in Seine-Saint-Denis. Testing, qualifying and racing will follow one another at this event organized by the French Motorcycling Federation, which has been in existence since 1981 and brings together France's finest in the discipline, with some 200 riders.
But what is Superbike? Unlike MotoGP, which is much better known to the general public, this circuit-based motorcycle speed championship brings together motorcycles similar to those used in the series, even if they are improved, and not prototypes. This year, the 6th round could crown the French Champions in the various categories: Moto 4, Supersport 600, OGP, Superbike, Side Cars. But the gaps between the riders are small, and we'll surely have to wait for the final to know the winners!
It's been more than 5 seasons since reigning champion Kenny Foray stepped off the podium at Carole, but Alan Techer remains in contention for the title, while Mike Di Meglio is pulling away. A suspenseful end to the season to be experienced live on this motorcycle circuit!
