On the occasion of the 48h of Urban Agriculture, on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April 2023, the AFAUP (French Association of Professional Urban Agriculture) offers the general public to discover what urban agriculture is. Participative workshops, projections followed by debates, walks, visits of farms and gardens... Many urban farms in Paris and the Ile-de-France region participate, including the REcyclerie, the Cité Maraîchère, the Cesaria-Evora garden in Montreuil, etc. Most of the events are free, but most importantly, there is something for all ages!
So, get on board for theAgricooltour, the bike tour that makes you discover the urban farms of Paris, the ecolieux and other permaculture farms, organized by the Permacooltour and the AFAUP : see you on Sunday, April 30th at 10am, for the departure of the tour, directly from the REcyclerie, in the 18th district, at Porte de Clignancourt. On the program, you will have to pedal more than 20 km by bike, between the north of Paris and the Seine-Saint-Denis.
Logistically, theAgricooltour does not lend bikes: you will have to come with your own or, failing that, the one lent by a friend (or a Vélib'). The arrival is scheduled around 8pm (the place is still to be defined): take your picnic and make sure you have the day free, let's go for a bike tour to meet those who make urban agriculture in the North of Paris!
