AC/DC in concert at the Stade de France in 2025: what's the opening act?

But before they can rock out to the Australian-British band's many hits, audiences will be treated to an opening act. So, who is it? Which band will have the honor of opening for AC/DC on August 9 and 13 at the Stade de France? We tell you all about it!

Two concerts that are sure to rock the Stade de France this summer! AC/DC have confirmed their return to Paris as part of their extended"Power Up Tour". While the August 9 date is already sold out, the band has added an extra show on August 13, 2025. It has to be said that many French fans want to vibrate to the rhythm of AC/DC's timeless hits.

AC/DC 's last French concert was in 2024. Last year, the band set the Paris-Loncghamp racecourse alight. AC/DC 's last concert at the Stade de France was in 2015. Ten years later, the Australian-British band will once again take over the legendary Paris venue, with two performances scheduled for August 9 and 13, 2025.

But before you catch Angus Young, Brian Johnson, Stevie Young and the rest of them live on stage, hopping along to " Highway to Hell ", " Back in Black ", " Thunderstruck " and tracks from"Power Up", AC/DC fans can look forward to an opening act. So who is it? Who will have the honor of opening for AC/DC in Paris on August 9 and 13?

Well, it's The Pretty Reckless! The American band, which has already played several concerts in Paris(Bataclan, Trianon, Zénith...), is made up of Taylor Momsen on vocals, Ben Phillips on guitar, Mark Damon on bass and Jamie Perkins on drums. Formed in New York in 2009, the band has 4 albums to its credit, the latest of which is entitled"Death by Rock and Roll".

Thanks to hits like " Heaven Knows ", " Take Me Down " and " Going To Hell ", The Pretty Reckless has won several awards, including Best Hard Rock Band in 2017 at the Alternative Press Music Awards. The Pretty Reckless have also opened for legendary bands such as Evanescence, Guns N'Roses and Soundgarden.

In 2024, The Pretty Reckless already had the honor of opening for AC/DC on the lawn of the Hippodrome Paris-Longchamp. The American rock band seems to have won over the audience, as it will once again be opening for AC/DC in France.
