The Compagnie Béjart Ballet Lausanne returns to Paris with Le Presbytère, the famous 1997 ballet tribute to Freddie Mercury and Jorge Donn. Join us at the Palais des Sports - Dôme de Paris for four performances scheduled for Thursday October 31 and Friday November 1, Saturday November 2 and Sunday November 3, 2019.

Five years after its French tour, Le Presbytère by Béjart Ballet Lausanne announces its return to the capital.

This time, the 40-odd dancers from the company, now directed by Gil Roman, will take over the Palais des Sports - Dôme de Paris for a handful of not-to-be-missed performances on Thursday October 31 and Friday November 1, Saturday November 2 and Sunday November 3, 2019.

Created in 1997 at the Théâtre national de Chaillot in Paris, Le Presbytère is a ballet-tribute to his company's iconic dancer, Jorge Donn, and singer Freddie Mercury, both of whom died of AIDS at the age of 45. Using Mozart arias and Queen's greatest hits, the choreographer invites us to reflect on desire and love.

We were lucky enough to attend one of Le Presbytère's performances in 2015. (Re)discover the review !

See you then on October 31 and November 1, 2 and 3, 2019 at the Palais des Sports - Dôme de Paris for new Parisian performances of Béjart Ballet Lausanne's magnificent ballet Le Presbytère.
