The King’s Jester is the name of Hasan Minhaj’s new show, performed on Thursday September 22, 2022, at La Cigale, a few weeks prior to its Netflix release scheduled by the end of the year.
After a first show called “Homecoming King” – out in May 2017 on Netflix – the pun expert – to whom we owe politic satire show “Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj” – comes to a stage in Paris.
Already rewarded with two Peabody Awards, an Emmy and a Television Academy Honor, Minhaj is about to conquer Europe’s heart with a brand-new one-man show in which he tells more about himself.
In a perfectly mastered storytelling, the world-famous humorist returns to his storytelling roots. And although he does not hesitate to tell us about his South-Asian education, he goes deeper about his job as a father and the passing on of ambitions and dreams to his daughter.
This event will be a phone-free experience. Using phones, connected watches and accessories will not be allowed within the performance hall.
Upon arrival, all phones, connected watches and accessories will be placed in individual Yondr bags opened at the end of the event. Guests remain in the possession of their devices and can use them at anytime all along the event in dedicated areas as designed in the venue. Devices will be placed safely in Yondr bags before heading back to the auditorium.
