Welcome to the wonderful world of teenagers with Ados sur TikTok, parents qui déblok, the latest production by Pierre Léandri, presented at Théâtre le République, a Parisian cabaret located on Place de la République, until June 30, 2024.
Ahhhh teenagers, those big kids/young adults in the middle of a crisis! Misunderstandings with parents, tensions and social networks: so many subjects on which parents and children don't really understand each other at this time of year... Pierre Léandri wanted to turn this into a show that would speak to both teenagers and their parents, with plenty of humor, jokes and, above all, real-life situations. There's only one risk in going to see this show: that you'll identify strongly with the three protagonists on stage.
So don't hesitate: take your teenagers, your pre-teens... to spend an afternoon during the school vacations! Count €19 to €29 per person for this original parent-teen outing!
Our opinion:
The three protagonists move with boundless energy between the stereotypes of today's teenagers and the realities of everyday family life. The show is directed by Pierre Leandri, who also plays the role of the father, accompanied by Roxane Michelet and Mathéo Rabeyrin, excellent in his role as a schoolboy. For an hour, we witness the comical reality of a father who finds himself managing his two teenagers alone for a weekend, without understanding the codes of this generation or even his own children.
From mistakenly putting his daughter's phone in the washing machine, to cooking pasta in cold water, to barging in on his kids' TikTok live stream, the clichés of today's teens are taken to the extreme, and yet we're not that far from reality... If you're going to see this comedy, take your teen with you - there are bound to be scenes in which you recognize yourself!
