"Rencontres Impulsion!", choreographic creation in the spotlight at Pavillon Carré de Baudouin

Rencontres Impulsion!" returns for a second edition in July 2023! Two days dedicated to choreographic creation are scheduled for July 7 and 8 at the Pavillon Carré de Baudouin. Organized by La Fabrique de la Danse, this event showcases committed choreographic creation, with aspects that are as much artistic as societal and educational.

Vibrate with Rencontres Impulsion! on July 7 and 8, at the Pavillon Carré de Baudouin in the 20th arrondissement. This is an opportunity to discover 12 choreographers from the Impulsion program of the Fabrique de la Danse, committed to promoting an educational and social art form that goes beyond the merely artistic. This commitment takes place during the artistic process or in the construction of the team.

While last year's event drew over 1,500 people to theSwedish Institute, this second edition promises to be rich in artistic demonstrations!

12 choreographers from the Fabrique program will take center stage over the two days. They will have the opportunity to present extracts from their creations, echoing the works of artist Taysir Batniji. Other highlights include work with the beneficiaries of the projects and participatory workshops.

La Fabrique de la Danse is the story of a vibrant, creative space dedicated toartistic expression through dance . In addition to its role as a dance school, the Fab rique is also a place of creation and exchange, where renowned choreographers collaborate with dancers to bring unique performances to life. By encouraging innovation and artistic collaboration, it contributes to the development of dance in the local community and beyond. The venue has also become an example to follow in terms of social impact creation, since 2016.

This free event is organized in collaboration with the Pavillon Carré de Baudouin and with the support of the Direction régionale des affaires culturelles d'Île-de-France - Ministère de la Culture, the City of Paris, and the Mairie du 20e arrondissement. Rencontres Impulsions! has also been awarded the Cultural Olympiad Paris 2024 label.
