Piaf est dans la Place! a musical with Johnny Prieur at A la Folie Théâtre

Every year in Paris, musical performances dedicated to the great Édith Piaf multiply. In 2023, there will be even more, due to the 60th anniversary of the death of this icon of French chanson. It was on October 10, 1963 that " la môme Piaf " passed away at the age of just 47.

For nostalgic fans, head to A La Folie Théâtre to discover an original musical show in Paris. Entitled " Piaf est dans la Place ", the show features an atypical staging in which singer and comedian Johnny Prieur steps into the shoes of the legendary Édith Piaf to perform today's hits to her most popular tunes!

In " Piaf est dans la Place " , there's no " Hymne à l'amour ", " Milord " or " Padam Padam ", just the songs of the moment that have the French dancing. So, which songs would Piaf have liked to sing today? Aya Nakamura? Johnny Hallyday? NTM? Beyoncé?... Answer in this atypical and funny show!

For these Parisian performances, not to be missed at A la Folie Théâtre from September 3 to December 17, 2023, Johnny Prieur is joined on stage by Matthieu Michard, with whom he took part in the TV show " La France a un incroyable talent ".
