After taking over the Olympia in May 2023, La Troupe du Jamel Comedy Club, abbreviated to JCC, is a comedy troupe founded by Jamel Debbouze, a true talent scout for over 15 years. The Jamel Comedy Club is best known for launching the careers of a number of well-known comedians in both the comedy and film worlds, including actor Thomas Ngijol, who co-created the "Black Crows " series and starred in several films, and Blanche Gardin, known for her scathing black humor and winner of several Molières awards.
Other famous names include Fary, renowned for his unique style and successful shows, and Nawell Madani, who became known for her energy on stage and her role in the film "C'est tout pour moi". These artists, among others, have benefited from the exposure and support of the Jamel Comedy Club, contributing to their current success. As well as being a platform for emerging talent in the world of comedy, the JCC Troupe also gives them the opportunity to perform on stage, offering audiences an evening of laughter filled with the diversity, energy and originality of the sketches presented.
And to usher in the new year 2024, the Jamel Comedy Club Troupe is celebrating New Year's Eve 2024 at the Comedy Club in Paris, on Sunday December 31. The program includes a hilarious show of sketches, jokes and happenings, with 6 comedians taking turns on stage. Two performances of the same show are scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., offering an hour and a half of pure laughter. All accompanied by a glass of champagne, promising an excellent start to the New Year's Eve party, followed by another festive program - the Comedy Club is not offering an evening after the show.
