Guillaume Meurice, recently a columnist on France Inter, and French astrophysicist Éric Lagadec present their new show Vers l'infini... mais pas au delà, at La Scala in Paris.

A new collaboration is underway: Guillaume Meurice, a well-known former France Inter columnist, and Éric Lagadec, a French astrophysicist and teacher-researcher, have joined forces to create their new show Vers l'infini... mais pas au delàà. Playing at Scala Paris from November 13 to 16, 2024, the show blends humor and reflection on the Universe.

In Vers l'infini... mais pas au delà, don't expect a lecture on astrology. Guillaume Meurice and Eric Lagadec introduce the show with a quote fromAlbert Einstein: "Two things are infinite: the Universe and human stupidity. But as far as the Universe is concerned, I'm not yet absolutely certain. The duo invites you on a journey through the two infinities. In the course of this adventure, the audience will encounter galaxies, exoplanets, Éric Ciotti, millionaires eating gold, and dummy stars made of potassium... The two comrades explore the themes of infinity and human ignorance with humor and intelligence. A creation that promises to be zany and offbeat.

Guillaume Meurice, French humorist, columnist and author, is best known for his humorous and satirical columns on France Inter, where he will remain until June 2024. Often adopting a caustic tone in his contributions, the humorist criticizes French politics and society. In addition to his radio work, Guillaume Meurice has also written several books and regularly takes part in Parisian stand-up shows. His new show Vers l'infini... mais pas au delà, with Éric Lagadec, is a first for the comedian, offering both entertainment and education at La Scala Paris.

For his part, Éric Lagadec is a French astrophysicist and teacher-researcher, specializing in the study of stars, galaxies and exoplanets, as well as the observation of celestial phenomena. In addition to his research work, he is also deeply involved in the popularization of science. He regularly takes part in conferences, public events and collaborative projects aimed at making space science accessible to a wide audience. He uses a variety of platforms to share his knowledge, from social networks to artistic collaborations, such as the one with Guillaume Meurice at La Scala Paris for the show Vers l'infini... mais pas au-delà.

A show not to be missed, from November 13 to 16, 2024, at La Scala Paris.
