Swan Lake: the classical dance show at Arena Grand Paris

A symbol of romantic ballet, Swan Lake captivates young and old alike. A ballet in four acts set to the music of the famous composer Tchaikovsky, it returns to the capital for a unique evening on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at theArena Grand Paris. The classical dance show, organized by FranceConcert, is also on at the Palais des Congrès de Paris from March 29 to April 6, 2025.

Swan Lake tells the tragic love story of Prince Siegfried and Odette, a princess transformed into a swan by an evil sorcerer, where only true love can free her from her fate. A series of twists and turns follow, making this ballet one of the world's leading classical dance productions.

Created in 1887, Swan Lake was not immediately as successful as had been hoped. Julius Reisinger's first choreography was poorly received by the critics. It was only a few years later, under the impetus of choreographers Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, that the show triumphed. It went on to become a mainstay of classical dance, so much so that today it is regularly performed in prestigious venues such as the Opéra Bastille in Paris.
