As the Lunar New Year approaches, the Théâtre de l'Alhambra invites you to discover a reinterpretation of The Rite of Spring by the Miranda Chin Dance Company. Performed by the talented Ke Wen and Miranda Chin, this exceptional choreographic work will be presented on January 28, 2025, on the eve of the Chinese New Year celebrations.
This unique performance focuses on the themes of harmony, transformation and renewal, in keeping with the Year of the Wooden Serpent. This choreographic work by Ke Wen and Miranda Chin draws on the age-old practices of Qi Gong, Tai Chi and Qi Dance, a new discpiline created by Ke Wen, to reinterpret Stravinsky 's work with spiritual intensity.
