An evening of solidarity theater in the heart of Paris: when theater meets commitment!

On Monday April 28 at 8pm, the Théâtre Saint Léon (Paris 15th) will host an exceptional performance of the play "Un Air de Famille", brought to life by the amateur troupe La Corde Verte. An evening of solidarity, culture and generosity, organized by Ladies' Circle 10 Paris for the benefit of the MARFANS Association.

Theater and commitment to solidarity

The date is set: a classic of contemporary theater, Un Air de Famille by Agnès Jaoui and Jean-Pierre Bacri, will be joyously performed by a team of amateur actors gathered for a good cause, at the Théâtre Saint Léon, in the 15th arrondissement.

With its sharp pen and biting humor, the play dramatizes family tensions and pretense in a cleverly orchestrated in camera setting. Laughter, emotion and scathing truths are the order of the day in this cult comedy.

But beyond the show itself, this evening is also about solidarity: all proceeds will go to theMARFANS Association, which supports people suffering from Marfan syndrome, a rare and complex genetic disease.

An evening not to be missed, where the emotion of the stage blends with the warmth of solidarity. Come one, come all, to laugh, to reflect... and to support!

A cause that calls for commitment

Little known to the general public, Marfan syndrome affects around 1 in 5,000 people, which represents approximately 15,000 people diagnosed in France.

This rare genetic disease affects connective tissue and can lead to serious cardiovascular complications, as well as ocular and musculoskeletal damage.

To date, there is no cure, and research - essential to improving diagnosis and patient quality of life - relies solely on private donations.

Faced with this challenge, the MARFANS Association works every day to support patients and their families, raise awareness among the general public and healthcare professionals, and support medical research. Taking part in this evening's event is much more than just enjoying a good time at the theater: it's a concrete act of support and solidarity.

An initiative supported by Ladies' Circle 10 Paris

The event was initiated by Ladies' Circle 10 Paris, the local branch of a national network of committed women, aged 18 to 45, involved in solidarity projects. In 2024, local Ladies' Circle France clubs raised over €250,000 to support local and national causes.

Combining conviviality, friendship, charity work and team spirit is the hallmark of this unique women's network.
