European leader of online sale, Showroom Privé, took the initiative to create this playful and enlightening event. Set at the Gaîté Lyrique starting from June 28 and up to July 2, this free exhibition open to all is called “Fashion Tech Festival” and offers the public to follow a path featuring prototypes of the clothes we would wear in the future that are both original and groundbreaking!
Panel discussions will be held with international experts so that you will know more about what our clothes will be like in the coming years. You will also meet start-ups presenting their revolutionary ideas and finally, last but certainly not least, fablabs including workshops will allow you to create your own pieces of connected clothes! When fashion meets connected objects!
An awards ceremony will also reward the boldest and well thought out ideas. The prestigious jury panel is chaired by Nelly Rodi and Fédération Française du prêt-à-porter féminin Pierre-François Le Louët, The Kooples founder Nicolas Santi-Weil and female designer Laura Pho Duc…
So, come aboard the time machine!
