Paris, the city of lights! From November 25, 2017 to January 27, 2018, Paris City Hall takes us through the main venues of Paris by night along a free exhibition to visit in the exhibit rooms located rue Lobau.
For this exhibition, over 300 documents have been brought together by the City Hall staff: posters, photographs, original movies, paintings and newspapers columns, they all reveal the faces of Paris by night.
If we know about Doisneau’s passion for nighttime walks through the French capital, the photographer is not the only one to immortalize Paris by night. Anonymous and art professionals enjoy spots of the city of a thousand lights to create surprising works or to simply immortalize the experience they’ve just lived out.
We don’t know yet what the big names of this exhibition are, but Paris City Hall never failed us when it came to the relevance of the major events of the city, so, we’re looking forward to the opening.
