TeamLab, beyond limits, is the must-seeimmersive exhibition at the Grande Halle de la Villette, until September 9, 2018 .
For 4 months, Japanese collective TeamLab will dazzle us with 5 immersive installations. In a 2,000m² space, we'll be immersed in a digital setting, sumptuous backdrops for a journey of the senses.
If the show is already fascinating, we'll be able to interact with the projections: imagine the leaves of the trees moving, the grass following our movements, the flow of water changing as we pass. With its installation, TeamLab opens the doors toan untamable nature, thanks to technology.
For TeamLab,"The works can also move freely and develop links and relationships with the public, modelling themselves on the human body's notion of time. [ ...] As we immerse and melt into ourselves in this unified world, we explore a new relationship that transcends boundaries between individuals as well as between humanity and the rest of the world."
Founded in 2001, the TeamLab collective answered La Villette 's call to celebrate the France-Japan year. In its installation teamLab: Beyond limits, the collective of artists, programmers, engineers, 3D animators, mathematicians and architects pushes back the boundaries of the exhibition to give us an unprecedented experience.
For the first time in Paris, TeamLab intends to turn our vision of art upside down with 5 immersive installations that will thrill our senses... To enter the room is to be caught up in sensations and emotions.
It's impossible to get out - you'll be captivated by these enchanting new worlds !
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
