The"Larmes de Joie" exhibition invites you to discover the Printemps Haussmann. Benoît Dutour, the renowned visual artist who enchanted us at the Madeleine church with his monumental exhibition, offers us a visual exploration of universal themes through his optical glass sculptures. The setting is on the 1st floor of Printemps Femme, in the refined space dedicated to Jewellery and Haute Horlogerie.
The exhibition comprises eight expressive tableaux and some fifty works, cleverly staged on pedestals, suspended in steles or nestled in a tree. The interplay between sculptures, light and space invites reflection on themes dear to the artist:
Each installation is a celebration of life, an invitation to explore the quintessence of human existence. Works such as"Coulures de Couleurs Colorées" and"Larme Pétales Coquelicots" evoke unprecedented visual emotion.
Benoît Dutour explains his quest for the perfect form, and how the simplicity of a raindrop inspired him to create"Larmes de Joie". He sees these works as a way of exploring this perfect world from heaven, sublimating it while questioning the meaning of our existence.
These fascinating works are available for purchase from 1,200 euros, allowing you to take a fragment of this visual poetry home with you.
Returning to Benoît Dutour, his work is a reflection on universal issues, a link between art and everyday life. He draws inspiration from the great names such as Magritte, Duchamp, Soulage and Rothko, seeking to provoke thought, while seducing with the aesthetic beauty of his creations.
The"Larmes de Joie" exhibition at Printemps Haussmann is an opportunity to contemplate Benoît Dutour's poetic and thoughtful universe, and to appreciate how contemporary art can question and celebrate life in all its splendor.
