Asterix, the Immersive Journey exhibition unveiled at the Atelier des Lumières - photos

To mark the 65th anniversary of the creation ofAsterix the Gaul by Albert Uderzo and René Goscinny, a whole program of discoveries has been unveiled for 2024. In addition to a number of surprises on the Parc Astérix side, which celebrated its 35th anniversary with a vertiginous new attraction and even a musical, the Atelier des Lumières is the place to go to immerse yourself in the world of the creators.

Culturespaces, the pioneers of immersive exhibitions who have been delighting us for over 30 years, are unveiling their"Asterix, the immersive journey" exhibition. Between a dive into nature with the Oceans exhibition, a dive into history with The Orientalists and theEgypt of the Pharaohs, and a dive into animation with, most recently, Tintin, they've got no end of creative discoveries in store for us.

Join the indomitable Gauls on a captivating new quest to find the Druid Panoramix, kidnapped by Julius Caesar. Travel through the verdant landscapes of Gaul, the arid lands of Hispania, the misty lands of Great Britain and, of course, the majestic pyramids ofEgypt. Alongside Asterix and Obelix, brave deserts and storms to bring Getafix back safe and sound.

" Asterix, the Immersive Voyage " plunges us into faithfully recreated settings from the famous comic strip. Each scene showcases Uderzo's fluid, expressive strokes, bringing the characters to life with humor and emotion. René Goscinny's timeless dialogues, subtle and emblematic, add a moving touch to this adventure.

In keeping with the Asterix legacy, this immersive exhibition, with its surprises and lively music, offers us the very best of Albert Uderzo and René Goscinny's world. In any case, it's a great trip for young and old alike.

Please note, it runs from October 18, 2024 to January 5, 2025 at theAtelier des Lumières. The exhibition opens in Paris before touring other art centers, such as the Carrières des Lumières in Les Baux de Provence and the Bassins des Lumières in Bordeaux.
