The Echo of the Orishas represents the ancestral memory that is never forgotten; it is the memory, the griot, the living word, the past, the present and the future. When we speak, the echo travels on the wind, but never dies. The wind carries the message and reaches those who are ready to listen, or the person who needs to hear it. The importance of the ancestral message that crossed the Atlantic Ocean with the African ancestors and settled in Brazil. The exhibition "Echoes of the Orishas: Bridging Worlds through Art and Dialogue" in Paris brings the ancestral ECHO, the living message of the spiritual word that comes from those beloved entities who are our ORISHAS, and who guide, protect and direct us towards the path of our human betterment. Today, this ancestral message will resonate in the hearts of those who are ready to heed the call to a better world, the call to do good and seek personal enlightenment.

His paintings have won him several awards and honors both in Brazil and internationally, including the Gold Medal of the Brazilian Society of Fine Arts (2009) and the Silver Medal of the Académie des Arts Sciences et Lettres de Paris (2010). His paintings, sculptures and public artworks, all dedicated to divinities of African descent, have been exhibited in Brazil, the United States and Europe. Ed Ribeiro's murals adorn public spaces all over Brazil. His studio in Catu, Bahia, was transformed into an open-air museum in 2008.

Stéphane Munnier, an accomplished self-taught photographer, will present eight photographs. From surf photography to evoking the spirit of Afro-Brazilian culture, Stéphane Munnier's work is as intimate as it is revealing. Marked by a deep respect for the people portrayed, his photographs celebrate the beauty and diversity of the Brazilian people, and particularly of Afro-Brazilian communities.
