If you've ever visited the Musée de l'Orangerie, you'll be familiar with the Water Lilies room. This impressionist painting by Claude Monet, comprising eight monumental panels, invites contemplation and meditation. An ideal space for concert-readings, a way of blending art, literature and music, every third Monday of the month, while listening to l'Écho des Nymphéas.
This cycle of cultural events offers the public exceptional eveningswhen writers and musicians meet in front of Monet's water lilies, which undoubtedly inspire artists. The words of authors and the sounds of composers emerge from the void for the occasion, through an original short story, in resonance with this peaceful and immersive painting.
On the program for this new season, exceptional duets at 7 and 8:30pm, between cello, percussion, piano, comedy, drama, fiction and reality, from Alice Zeniter and Bastien Lallemant to Souleymane Diamanka.
